About the Community

Our town,  Garwin (aka THE VALLEY) is a quaint community located in Tama County. We boast high standards, promote growth and learning,  all while keeping in touch with some of the  traditional ways of small town living. Weekly live music in the park(WED EVENINGS June-August), an amazing fireworks display, traditional tractor show and many other events are held throughout the year.  We have a GAS STATION(Raymond's), a bank (LSB), not to mention a few other business downtown. Come for a visit,  you just might want to stay!
